ABOUT US

Anwar's Legacy:
Turning Kindness
Into Action

Anwar's Light was founded to honor the memory of Anwar, a beloved son, brother, and friend whose life was tragically cut short on August 1, 2020. Anwar’s name, meaning "luminous" or "radiant" in Arabic (أنور), beautifully reflects his boundless generosity and commitment to uplifting others. His legacy of kindness fuels the heart of our mission, inspiring us to empower vulnerable children with opportunities to thrive and succeed.

Our Mission

We empower orphaned children worldwide by providing comprehensive education, practical life skills, and pathways to self-sufficiency. Our mission is to create nurturing environments where children can grow into confident, self-reliant individuals, equipped to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

What Sets Us Apart:

Holistic Support: Combining traditional education with vocational training and emotional development.

Sustainability: Focused on creating self-sufficient orphanages and fostering community engagement.

Future-Driven: Preparing children with the skills they need to thrive in a modern, interconnected world.

Our Vision

We envision a world where orphaned children have the resources, skills, and opportunities to thrive in self-sustaining environments. Our ultimate goal is to establish a global network of self-sufficient orphanages where children are not only cared for but also empowered to become independent, confident, and compassionate leaders within their communities.

Every Child Deserves a Brighter Future

Join us in making this vision a reality. Together, we can transform lives and light the path to a brighter tomorrow.

Our Impact

Though still in our early stages, Anwar’s Light has a bold and far-reaching vision. We are focused on establishing our first orphanage in Africa—a model that integrates shelter, care, education, and vocational training. As we grow, our goal is to replicate this self-sustaining model across regions, creating opportunities for children to achieve independence and lifelong success.

Why We’re Needed:

Over 153 million orphans worldwide lack access to basic education, care, and support.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and thrive in a nurturing environment.
